State of the Me
Assuming I don't fail any of my classes this semester ~~please, self, please get your shit together~~, I will have a BA in roughly 11 weeks.

That game company is talking to M about coming up this summer, or early in the fall, to work full-time for them. So! We may be moving to Seattle after all, and pretty soon. ~~geezus I wish they'd just make a decision about something all this back and forth is driving me crazy~~.

If we do move in, say, late August, it would make sense to have the wedding before we go. So June or July. Er. I think we're going to do super-soakers and Guitar hero. Because formal receptions are for pussies.

After that... um. I have no idea? The graduate program (in medieval lit! OMG YOU GUYS, A WHOLE PROGRAM IN MEDIEVAL LIT. O.O) that I'm interested in, I learn I should have applied to back in November? Er. So. I fail! I guess I'll do something non-or-only-vaguely academic next semester and try to apply for next year. What that might be, though... um. Is a good question!

I'm hoping, since spring break is coming up, and we're starting to look like we know what's going to be going on, a bit, that I'll feel like doing some art. I haven't drawn anything serious since December, and I really, really don't like that. Though I did draw a set of dr. seuss-esque emu and kiwis down the sides of my notes last week that turned out pretty cute. Not much beats tiny panicking fluffy birds. <3

And that's what I know! What are you guys up to?

Yay graduating! \o/ I hope you get a solid answer on the Seattle thing soon, because concrete plans, they are a good thing.

Also that graduate program sounds pretty dang awesome. :D You should totally apply for that next year.

I approve of this drawing idea! Because Mitsuhachi art is awesome!

I am probably going to spend most of this weekend either in the library or holed up in my room because I have two papers due next week - one on Monday, one on Tuesday. Which is TOTALLY AWESOME LET ME TELL YOU. And also I need to laundry really badly. So yeah, my weekend is going to be off the hook partying. :D

And I'm going home in *counts* three? weeks for spring break, which'll be cool, but I'm not going to have my car so I'm trying to figure out just how much socializing I'll be able to do in a week. Hmmm.

Concrete plans are nice! This uncertainty thing, I don't do so well with it.

Mitsuhachi art would be more awesome if I had ideas for anything other than the retarded rainboy!ghei boyband as girls. -_-; My brain is made of wtf these days.

Whoo for absurd amounts of schoolwork. Is it midterms time for you too? I finished the one paper today, but I have two more and another test before the end of the week. And, you know...clean clothes? Are also, totally, for pussies. Just like sleep and eating. >.>

Thank the gods for Spring break, seriously. I think I'm going to sleep straight through mine. I could drive up to see you though, if you wanted, maybe. Depending on how the timing works out, and how dead we both are. Or, you know, you're welcome to take a bus and stay with us-- we have a futon, and I love to cook. Let me know how it works out.

I don't either, I always feel so much better after I have solid set plans even if they're really hard/busy/whatever.

Nah, I'm on the quarter system, so we're actually approaching week nine of ten, so it's much more End of the Quarter things.

LORD I know I'm ready for this quarter to be over. Also the weather was totally gorgeous today and I am totally ready for summer to be here. I wants to just hang out with friends and work and not have to worry about this class thing at all. :<<<
That sounds like a lot of fun! I will look into public transit options if you don't feel like driving me (maybe if you could pick me up from SF I could get myself to the City?). Now that I think about it Mom and I are going to see Wicked at some point during the break but I don't remember exactly when so I will let you know when I am free.

Playing video games and being dumb sounds like an awesome plan to me! And I would like to meet M as well, so that should be totally awesome. ~~You are assuming I'd have a problem with this? :D~~
And I have now checked my email and we're seeing Wicked Tuesday the 24th of March, so maybe later that Friday or something before I go home?

I too hope that Mikes company figures out what they want. Went to a job fair on campus recently and it is overwhelming. How is your computer situation? Did you get a new laptop yet? Can't wait for spring break. Then I can actually hang out with my carmel friends. I hardly get to see people from back home. I worry about grades and failing too. I am probably just being too worried and hard on myself. I always am and it does me no good. I hope your wedding goes smoothly. Also, I think that you should have whatever type of reception you want. It has to be special to you and no one else. You will have to tell me about the medieval lit program sometime. I actually did a medevial lit class here a couple of years ago.
